Cookie Policy
A short and honest account of what this website stores on your device — and what it deliberately does not.
1. The short version
This website sets no advertising cookies and no profiling cookies. There is no consent banner because, as the site currently stands, there is nothing to consent to. That is a deliberate choice, not an oversight.
2. What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file a website stores on your device so it can recognise your browser on a later request. Similar technologies — local storage, pixels, and tracking scripts — do comparable things and are covered by the same rules.
3. What we use
Strictly necessary
Cookies or local storage entries required for the site to function — for example remembering a form step or a security token. These are exempt from the consent requirement under Article 11.7a of the Dutch Telecommunications Act, because without them the service cannot be delivered.
Analytics
Where we measure traffic, we use aggregated, cookieless measurement that does not identify individual visitors and does not follow you across websites. No consent is required for this, and no personal profile is created.
What we do not use
- Advertising or retargeting cookies
- Social media tracking pixels
- Cross-site profiling of any kind
- Cookies that sell or share your behaviour with data brokers
4. Third-party content
We load typefaces from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's servers and Google receives your IP address for that request. No cookie is set by this. Where we embed a video or an external form, that provider may set its own cookies once you interact with it; those are governed by the provider's own policy.
5. If this changes
We may introduce advertising measurement — for example a Meta or LinkedIn pixel — if and when we begin running paid campaigns. If that happens, a proper consent banner will appear before any such technology loads, with a genuine reject option that is as easy to use as accepting. Nothing non-essential will be loaded on the basis of silence or a pre-ticked box, and this page will be updated to name each tool and its purpose.
6. Managing cookies yourself
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of this site working. Every major browser publishes instructions for its own settings.
